Erica Koo (Stretch)
“Meeting you where you are, to elevate you to where you want to be and beyond”
About Erica (Stretch)
People call me Stretch because I am a level 3 Fascial Stretch Specialist®. It is a pain-free method of assisted stretching that improves mobility, relieves pain and enhances performance. I combine this treatment modality with my knowledge and experience in strength training and psychology to help clients get out of pain, and work with them to become their strongest and best selves. I have experience with a wide range of clients from stroke patients to professional combat and strength athletes. I am currently completing my Masters in Sports Psychology. I educate clients on how their mindset and perception can impact performance and pain, and work collaboratively towards building a resilient mindset alongside their physical work.
I was the epitome of UNathletic through my schooling years, but found love for strength training and sports through competitive powerlifting. I have experienced the challenges that come with being a beginner, as well as the injuries and mental hurdles that come with competitive sports when you push yourself to new heights. This has led me to practice and compete in different sports, including aerial hoop (3 performances to date), weighlifting, sprinting and boxing. This has also led me to understand that your training and ableness to push yourself how you want, can be a huge part of your identity that can be disrupted by pain and injury. My goal is to meet you where you are, and work together to get you to where you want to be; whether that is to learn how to move pain-free, return to training, or reach a higher level of performance. How long a client works with me is individual. The ultimate goal is to get you to a place where you do not need my services any longer, but have the strength, resilience and confidence to continue along your pathway to your best self.
